What can you expect from Erindor?

Erindor is a small-scale, immersive LARP focused on atmosphere, storytelling, and deep roleplay. Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions we get, so you know exactly what to expect.

How big is Erindor?

Erindor is currently a small-scale LARP with around 15 to 20 participants per event. This includes a mix of adventurers, civilians, adversaries, and crew.

We aim to grow towards 30 to 40 participants, but we do this deliberately and step by step. Our focus is on quality, personal interaction, and strong roleplay, not scale.

What kind of LARP is Erindor?

Erindor is built around deep, dramatic roleplay and immersion.

  • We keep our rules system simple
  • The focus lies on story, atmosphere and interaction
  • We expect players to stay 100% in character during the game
  • Out-of-game conversations are kept to a minimum and done outside the game zone.
  • Costumes and props should fit the setting (no modern elements)
    • We are not reenactment, but our immersion standards are intentionally high.
      • We do make an exeption for shoes, we prefer your shoes to be in a natural colour and sturdy with good grip.

What roles can I play?

You can participate in different ways:

Adventurers
Recurring powerfull characters who actively shape the story.

Civilians
Roles such as merchants, guards, craftsmen, etc.
These spots are limited.

Adversaries
More than just “monsters”: also bandits, creatures, and other threats.
These roles rotate and add tension and dynamics to the game.

Can I play the same character at multiple events?

This depends on the type of character.

Adventurers are generally recurring characters.

For civilians, we cannot guarantee this. Erindor Larp takes place in a dynamic world that evolves based on player actions. Locations and situations may change from one event to the next.

We do our best to take returning participants into account, but flexibility is important.

Is there an in-game economy?

The economy is currently in development.

In previous settings it was less relevant, but as we expand into the wider world, it becomes more important. Upcoming events will introduce a limited coin system, fitting the region and setting.

This system will continue to grow and evolve over time.

Is there a progression system?

For adventurers, progression is mainly story-driven, not on levels or XP.

For civilians, there is currently no fixed progression system across multiple events.

In the future, we would like to evolve towards more stable locations (such as a settlement or trade post), where social and economic progression becomes more relevant, but we are not there yet.

How often do you organize events?

We currently organize around 2 events per year.

Our goal is to grow towards 3 events per year, and eventually to a seasonal rhythm (one event per season). This depends on the growth of our player base.

Do you work with fixed dates?

Not yet.

We aim to move towards more fixed periods or dates in the future, to make planning easier for players.

This is part of our longer-term roadmap.

What is included in terms of food?

We offer optional meals during the event.

Food is simple, practical, and filling, fitting our setting and budget.
Food is not the main focus of the event, but a practical support for those who want.

What drinks are included?

We provide:

  • Coffee & tea
  • Soft drinks (including sugar-free options)
  • Beer (pils)

We do not serve strong alcohol. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, but we ask everyone to be mindful of alcohol use.

Is Erindor right for me?

Erindor is probably a good fit if you:

  • enjoy immersive, character-driven roleplay
  • like small, personal events
  • value atmosphere, costume and immersion
  • want to grow with a developing world and community

It may not be the best fit if you are looking for large-scale events with hundreds of players or heavily system-driven gameplay.
